Authors submitting a manuscript do so on the understanding that if accepted for publication, the copyright of the article shall be assigned to the journal Arbiter, Department of Music, Lagos State University (LASU) Ojo, Lagos, and the author also holds the copyright without restriction.
Copyright encompasses exclusive rights to reproduce and deliver the article in all forms and media, including reprints, photographs, microfilms and any other similar reproductions, as well as translations. The reproduction of any part of this journal, its storage in databases and its transmission by any form or media, such as electronic, electrostatic and mechanical copies, photocopies, recordings, magnetic media, et cetera are allowed with written permission from the journal Arbiter, Department of Music, Lagos State University (LASU Ojo, Lagos.

Author Guidelines
Submissions to LASUJOMH must be original, unpublished work. Authors are required to properly credit and cite all sources that are not their own, including images, figures, text excerpts, and tables. If necessary, authors must obtain permission from copyright holders for any borrowed material. All manuscripts must include five keywords and an English abstract. Abstracts should be no longer than 250 words and include the manuscript’s title.
Format
Manuscripts should be submitted as Microsoft Word documents, using Times New Roman, 12-point font, and double-spaced lines. The first page should only contain the title of the paper. On a separate page, authors should provide their name, address, email address, and any other relevant contact information, listed under the manuscript title.
Word Count
Manuscripts submitted to LASUJOMH should typically range between 6,000 and 8,000 words, inclusive of any maps, charts, photographs, notes, and references. However, review articles and the likes should not exceed 2,000 words. Book reviews have a shorter word limit of 1,000 words.
Style
All submissions must follow the current APA style guidelines for citations and documentation.
